In February 2016 Dr. Dobson closed his Springfield Practice to join the staff of Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. After an additional four years of service and new friends in Portsmouth, Dr. Dobson retired in February 2020.
Dr. Dobson misses his many patients in Springfield and Portsmouth, and appreciates all the well wishes he's received.
What is Dr. Dobson doing now?
In December 2020 Dr. Dobson joined the Ohio Medical Reserve Corps as a volunteer to further the Covid-19 vaccination effort in Ohio. He's been working with the Clark County Combined Health District, delivering thousands of vaccinations at the JC Penney site on Upper Valley Pike, and at outlying clinics around the region.
